This has a six digit engine number and one website shows it may be from a 1972 DT2 250 Pearl Yellow model. Exact year unknown. We found it with the piston seized in the cylinder. The piston came free without much trouble but has been previously hit on the crown by some other earlier attempt. No apparent fin damage on cylinder. Bore should be usable with a little work. Bore measures approx. 70.5mm. The crank and output shaft are turning. There seems no apparent damage on the engine cases. The clutch cover has a small hole as shown that needs repair. There is no two stroke oil pump. Clutch, shifting and starting mechanism appears all there and in preserved condition as shown. Transmission condition unknown but it appears to turn freely. A good restorer motor.
